Dr. Peter Crabb

NNU Professor of Finance & Economics

Dr. Crabb holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Oregon and an MBA in Finance from the University of Colorado. His research in economics and finance is published in the Journal of Business, the Journal of Microfinance, and the International Review of Economics and Finance, among others. Dr. Crabb lives with his wife, Ann, and their four children in Canyon County, Idaho.

Honorable Tom Dale

Mayor, Nampa, ID

Tom Dale was elected mayor of Nampa in December of 2001, and assumed office January 2002. Prior to being elected to the position of mayor, Tom served on the Nampa City Council for 6 years. He is a graduate of Northwest Nazarene University, and earned a Master's degree in Music Education from the University of North Texas. Tom served his nation in the United States Navy for four years and in the United States Air Force National Guard for three years. Tom has a very diverse background, including rancher, business owner/operator, entrepreneur, teacher at every level from kindergarten to college, motivational speaker and professional musician. He is a private pilot and enjoys dirt bikes, bicycles, hunting, fishing and skiing. During his years as mayor, Tom has served as President of the Association of Idaho Cities, Chairman of the Board for the Metropolitan Planning Organization, COMPASS, is currently Chairman of the board for Valley Regional Transit, and Chairman of the College of Western Idaho Advisory Council. He also serves on the Nampa Chamber of Commerce Board and the Salvation Army Board.

Dr. Mollie Sweet

NNU Associate Professor of Business

Mollie Sweet, Associate Professor of Accounting and HR and Title IX Coordinator for Northwest Nazarene University, has been a professor since 2003. She has both accounting and human resources experience in various industries ranging from a grocery giant to a leading title company. She has a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting and Human Resource Management, from Miami University (Oxford), an MBA from Northwest Nazarene University, and a PhD in Business Administration, specialization, Finance, from Northcentral University. Dr. Sweet has been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the Society for Human Resource Management. She also is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and has served as the Treasurer of the Treasure Valley Chapter of the Institute of Management Accountants for the past five years. She has regularly appeared as a subject matter expect on the Better Business Bureau's Business at Its Best weekly television show and continues to work as an HR consultant. Her research interests include behavioral finance, specifically risk tolerance and investing and current trends in human resources.

Ryan Warwick, CFA

Vice President - Investment Officer

Ryan has been with Rathbone Warwick & Daly Investment Consulting since 1997. He joined the practice shortly after graduating from Northwest Nazarene University with a bachelor's degree in both business administration (finance) and accounting. Ryan earned a CFA Charter in 2004. The CFA Charter is a globally recognized standard of investment analysis issued by the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts. Ryan is also a non-practicing CPA (inactive). He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts, and the CFA Society of Idaho. In 2007, Ryan was named to the Idaho Business Review's "Accomplished 40 Under 40" list. Ryan is a founding board member and former treasurer of Love, INC of the Boise Community, a non-profit organization committed to providing a variety of resources to local residents in need. Ryan also teaches and counsels on financial stewardship. Ryan and his wife, Shannon, live in Meridian with their two daughters.

Dr. Scott Yenor

Department Chair, Boise State University Political Science Department

Scott Yenor is Professor and Chair of Political Science at Boise State University, where he teaches courses in political philosophy, American political thought, and constitutional law. He is also Director of the American Founding Initiative, which aims to bring ideas of limited government and classical liberty to today's university. His publications include Family Politics: The Idea of Marriage in Modern Political Thought (Baylor, 2011), which concerns the way in which the ideas of contract and human autonomy have eclipsed the idea of marital unity in modern political thought. He is currently working on two books, one applies the idea of marital unity to today's family policy and the other concerns American Reconstruction. He lives in Meridian Idaho with his wife Amy and five children: Jackson, Travis, Sarah, Paul, and Biscuit (Mark!).
